Initial redesign, 2023
The initial redesign of my portfolio website involved a complete overhaul of the existing WordPress site. Projects were presented as cards instead of content blocks, creating a more balanced display.
The redesign used custom components and CSS.
The new site was built with NextJS and ReactJS and deployed on Vercel. I felt it was necessary to move to a static site generator from a CMS because static site generators are more cost-effective for smaller websites and offer freedom, simplicity, and faster page load times than a traditional web host.

2025 redesign
The 2025 redesign of my portfolio website is both more streamlined and expanded. While the layout is still card-based, I refined the components design by using a combination of custom CSS, Tailwind CSS, and Daisy UI. This change allows for easier and quicker modifications in the future.
Expansions include the addition of a light and dark mode toggle, clearer images, and a more detailed layout for project pages.
